I teach 2nd grade for Chicago Public Schools and immerse my students in a fantastical world of wizards, knights, and evil, anthropomorphic desserts. As a part of our literacy curriculum, my students write stories to accompany the video game-style music I write.
Prior to teaching, I studied music composition at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and Wesleyan University.
